InfWallet
Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 18, 2026. This policy explains what InfWallet stores, what data is sent when you use optional cloud features, and how you can delete your data.
Overview
InfWallet is a personal finance application. The app is designed to store your wallet data locally on your device. Some features, including Google Drive backup, restore, and smart input, are optional and only run when you choose to use them.
Information stored in the app
InfWallet stores the information you enter into the app, including transaction records, accounts, categories or tags, settings, and backup preferences. This data is stored locally on your device using a local database.
InfWallet does not use your financial data for advertising, profiling, or resale.
InfWallet does not create its own user account. You can use the app without creating an InfWallet account.
Google Sign-In and Google Drive backup
If you choose to enable Google Drive backup, InfWallet asks you to sign in with your Google account. This connection is optional and uses an account that is created outside the app.
When Google backup is enabled, InfWallet may access:
- Your Google account identity needed to complete sign-in
- A backup file created by InfWallet in your Google Drive app-data area
InfWallet uses the Google Drive `appDataFolder` scope. This scope is limited to the app's private application data folder in Google Drive. It is not used to browse, read, or modify the rest of your Google Drive.
The backup file may contain your wallet database so the app can restore your data on a device you control.
InfWallet does not use Google Sign-In for a separate app account, social features, advertising, or analytics.
How your data is used
Your data is used only to provide app functionality, including:
- Displaying and managing your wallet records inside the app
- Saving your data locally on your device
- Creating, updating, and restoring an optional Google Drive backup
- Sending optional smart input text or receipt images to a configured AI service to generate draft suggestions
Smart input and receipt processing
If you choose to use smart input features, InfWallet may send the text you enter or receipt images you select to a configured OpenAI-compatible API service.
This processing is optional and only happens when you use smart input features. The data is sent to return structured draft suggestions inside the app, such as transaction details, account details, or receipt-based transaction drafts.
InfWallet does not send your local wallet data to an AI service unless it is part of the text or image content you choose to submit through smart input.
Data sharing
InfWallet does not sell your personal information. InfWallet does not share your wallet data with third parties except when you explicitly use optional cloud features. If you use Google Drive backup, the backup file is stored in your own Google account under the app-data area provided by Google. If you use smart input, the text or image content you submit is sent to the configured AI service to process your request.
Data retention and deletion
Local wallet data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, or replace it through a restore action you initiate.
If you connected Google Drive backup, the backup remains in your Google Drive app-data area until it is overwritten or removed. You can stop future access by disconnecting Google Drive from within the app and by removing InfWallet access from your Google account permissions.
If you want backup data removed, delete the app's backup from your Google account. If you want local data removed, clear app storage or uninstall the app. InfWallet does not keep a separate hosted user account or hosted wallet database that requires a manual deletion request.
Security
Reasonable measures are taken to protect your information, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and your Google account.
Children
InfWallet is not directed to children under 13, and the app is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.
